What You'll Do:
As a Buyer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that high-quality parts are delivered to the factory on time while working closely with experienced professionals who are eager to mentor you. Here are your key responsibilities:
- Deliver Excellence: Ensure timely delivery of cost-effective parts to our production line.
- Supplier Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to select optimal suppliers.
- Category Management: Manage key spend categories across various commodity teams including Metals, Exterior, and more.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Foster commercial discipline through cross-functional collaboration.
- Performance Metrics: Negotiate costs and drive improvements in supplier performance.
- Process Enhancement: Ensure compliance in procurement processes and recommend enhancements.
- Future-Focused Projects: Contribute to sustainability, innovation, and software initiatives.
About the Team:
The Purchasing team is dedicated to securing sustainable and cost-efficient supply chains while managing supplier performance and risk. You will be at the forefront of planning and delivering new production models and aftersales parts.
