Quantity Surveyor
Crewe (site location TBC)

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support the successful delivery of a key infrastructure project - a Cycle Route Upgrade Scheme in Crewe.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong commercial background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects to take on a pivotal role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of a project delivered under an NEC contract.



What you'll be doing:

  • Administering and managing the NEC contract to ensure compliance and performance.

  • Preparing and submitting interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports.

  • Assisting in the procurement and management of subcontractor packages.

  • Supporting change management processes, including compensation events.

  • Providing accurate cost forecasting and risk assessments to the client and project team.

  • Ensuring robust commercial controls are in place and maintained.

  • Preparing monthly reports, including earned value analysis and CVRs.



What we're looking for:

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline).

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts.

  • Proven ability in cost reporting, forecasting, and subcontract management.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
