We're currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Commercial Team working on long-term highways and infrastructure schemes across Cheshire East.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working in a collaborative environment alongside Design and Road Safety teams, managing projects from early feasibility through to final account.

The Role
You'll take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of design-and-build highways schemes delivered under NEC3 Term Service Contracts (Options A, C and E). The role offers real variety and autonomy, with exposure across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:
·Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, forecasts and financial reports
·Commercial management of projects from feasibility to final account
·Contract administration in line with NEC3/NEC4 requirements
·Managing change control, compensation events and risk
·Preparing tender documentation and overseeing subcontract procurement
·Valuing works, managing subcontractor payments and agreeing final accounts
·Providing commercial advice on claims, variations and dispute resolution
·Working closely with internal teams, clients and supply chain partners to ensure successful delivery

About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who bring a strong commercial mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You'll ideally have:
·A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
·Proven experience working under NEC3/NEC4 or similar forms of contract
·Strong analytical, negotiation and cost management skills
·Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
·A full UK driving licence
