As the Vehicle Technicianyou will be working with a variety of respected automotive brands, in a supportive environment that offers you the training, tools, and clear progression route to take your career to the next level — including the opportunity to fast-track towards a Master Technician position.

Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician

  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a range of vehicles
  • Conduct diagnostic testing to identify faults and determine the best repair solutions
  • Complete MOT preparation and repairs in line with DVSA standards (if qualified)
  • Perform electrical and mechanical system repairs, replacements, and adjustments
  • Work to manufacturer guidelines and quality standards at all times
  • Use specialist tools and diagnostic equipment to complete work efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used
  • Adhere to all health & safety regulations and workshop best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet workshop targets and deliver excellent customer service
  • Stay up to date with new vehicle technology through ongoing training and development

Desired Skills and Experience of the Vehicle Technician

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant automotive discipline
  • Previous experience in a workshop environment
  • A proactive, driven approach with a commitment to delivering high standards of work
  • Ability to meet both individual and team targets
  • Full UK driving licence
