This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company where engineering excellence, innovation, and quality are at the heart of their operations.

About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced CNC Setter or Programmer to operate and set up metal-cutting machinery. You will play a key role in producing tooling and component parts that meet exacting standards. Experience with manual milling, lathes, or grinding is also highly beneficial.

This role would suit someone who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and a proactive team player who thrives in a hands-on production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a CNC Setter, you will:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes, grinders, millers, drills, and presses.
  • Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect and measure workpieces for defects and accuracy.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to guide operations.

As a CNC Programmer, you will:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to create machine programs.
  • Use CAM software to model cutting paths.
  • Set machines for different materials and ensure quality output.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and carry out basic maintenance.
  • Train colleagues on machine use and programming techniques.

  • Good communication and team-working abilities.
  • Manual machining experience is desirable.
  • Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.

What’s on Offer:

  • Salary: £25,250 - £32,250 per annum
  • 39-hour working week with early finish on Fridays
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Bonus scheme (including quarterly bonus)
