This is an exceptional opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting and build a strong foundation in food quality and safety with a pregressin path through technical and quality management.

In thisMonday-Friday, days-based role, you'll be an integral part of our client's QA & Technical Team. You'll gain hands-on experience ensuring the technical integrity and compliance of finished goods, upholding the highest company, legal, and third-party standards.

  • Raw Material & Product Scrutiny:Reviewing Goods Inwards documentation and conducting crucial sampling and testing of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
  • Release Verification:Ensuring all appropriate checks are meticulously completed before materials and products are released.
  • External Sample Management:Handling external sample submissions, including precise documentation and data entry into SAP.
  • Daily Quality Checks:Performing daily monitoring and documented checks to uphold product safety, legality, integrity, and quality.
  • Non-Compliance Action:Initiating and documenting immediate actions for any non-compliance issues impacting product standards.
  • Non-Conforming Product Management:Identifying, reporting, and managing non-conforming products, ensuring correct handling and disposal.
  • Procedure Development:Contributing to the development of preventative procedures to tackle recurring non-conformances.
  • Reporting Deviations:Reporting any deviations from company practices and procedures (including security and food fraud) to the QMS team.
  • Hygiene & GMPs:Monitoring, recording, and maintaining impeccable hygiene standards (Good Manufacturing Practices) across all production areas and the entire site.
  • Audit Support:Assisting the QA team with essential audit preparation and execution.

Location & Eligibility:

This role is commutable from areas including Yeovil, Crewkerne, Chard, Ilminster, Axminster, Dorchester, Honiton, Bridport, Weymouth, Sidmouth, and Wareham.
