A leading FMCG manufacturer isseeking an Assistant Production Manager to join their expanding 24/7 production facility.This is currentlya Monday - Friday days based role, however flexibility in future will be needed to support the wider production teams.

Supporting the Factory Manager and wider operationalleadership team; the AssistantProductionManagerwillberesponsibleforoverseeingthedaily manufacturingoperationsfromintakethroughtodispatch;ensuringtheteamshit KPIs,supportingProductionSupervisorsinthetraininganddevelopmentoftheirteamsandsupportingtheCI&HSEManagersintheroleoutofnewprojectsandinitiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Team Manager / Leader to take their next step in their manufacturingcareer, full support and training will be provided to develop the successful applicant to progress their career. Candidates will have sound knowledge of production processes, operations and continuous improvement developed within an FMCG manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure operational teams achieve maximum output
  • Support development and training plans and performanceappraisals
  • Monitor and quantify efficiency improvements
  • Inspire teams to engage and outperform
  • Support new product development
  • Maintain and promote high standards of quality, H&S and continuous improvement.
