We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual who is knowledgeable in production planning

£ 14.00 per hour

Day shift

Monday - Friday - 07:00 - 17:00. (flexable) - Weekend availability

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading the planning team, ensuring that all aspects of the daily production plan are met. This position requires a blend of organisational expertise, creative problem-solving, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Communicate with the production staff
Report any engineering issues to the engineering team
Complete daily stock checks, investigate any discrepancies
Lead & Develop the planning team and ensure training is up to date
Liaise with internal engineering team to facilitate engineering work
Liaise with Technical department in relation to quality issues
Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are fulfilled
Forward plan stocks and orders to check stocks over the weeks ahead
Make an effective, efficient plan of production daily

Skills

Strong communication skills and ability to talk to all levels of the organisation
Good maths skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Effective organisation skills
