We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual who is knowledgeable in production planning

£ 14.00 per hour

Day shift

Monday - Friday - 07:00 - 17:00. (flexable) - Weekend availability

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading the planning team, ensuring that all aspects of the daily production plan are met. This position requires a blend of organisational expertise, creative problem-solving, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the production staff
  • Report any engineering issues to the engineering team
  • Complete daily stock checks, investigate any discrepancies
  • Lead & Develop the planning team and ensure training is up to date
  • Liaise with internal engineering team to facilitate engineering work
  • Liaise with Technical department in relation to quality issues
  • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are fulfilled
  • Forward plan stocks and orders to check stocks over the weeks ahead
  • Make an effective, efficient plan of production daily

Skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to talk to all levels of the organisation
  • Good maths skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective organisation skills
