A unique two Michelin Starred gastronomic experience set in the heart of The Glenturret Distillery, Scotlands oldest working whisky distillery.

Drawing inspiration from The Glenturret Distillery, Scotland's breathtaking landscapes, and its rich bounty. Our Multi-Course Dining Experience brings to life the artistry of Two Michelin-starred gastronomy, offering a meticulously crafted menu that evolves with the seasons.

Enjoy working in our restaurant, open for lunch, dinner and drinks from Wednesday to Saturday. Our bar lunch offers a relaxed setting, with a la carte, sharing style menus. In the evening, we serve a 2 Michelin starred multi course tasting menu in the restaurant. Guests are also welcome for whisky flights or drinks, served in our Lalique bar and lounge.

We are currently recruiting an experienced, energetic Restaurant Manager to lead a team who are passionate about providing excellent food, outstanding 5* service and an unrivalled guest experience. Reporting directly into the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing the Restaurant and all areas of the Restaurant operation from a 2 Michelin star dinner service to bar lunch and private events. You will have a strong presence on the floor, engaging with guests as well as leading and inspiring your team to provide an exceptional service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To ensure that service standards are consistently high to deliver a premium guest experience
  • Develop, coach, mentor and oversight of the Restaurant team, including hands on support
  • Follow current F&B trends and introduce any new initiatives to the restaurant that would benefit the business in a positive way
  • Drive revenue and meet or exceed budgeted and forecasted revenue targets
  • Control costs and expenditure in line with business levels and budgeted KPI targets
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust to high level customer demands

Essential skills:

-Proven experience as Restaurant Manager in a 1,2 or 3 star Michelin Restaurant

-Extensive food and beverage knowledge

-Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

-Acute financial management skills and commercial awareness

-Good eye for detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively to ensure efficient time management

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

-Strong organisational and Problem-solving skills

-Ability to lead, mentor and support a team to provide an exceptional level of service

-Hold a Personal Licence Certificate or undertake training to secure the qualification
