This Electronics Technician job will suit:
- A Technician with practical electronics experience, ideally instrument calibration and repair.
- A recently completed apprenticeship or college qualification within an electronics related discipline.
- You are likely to have a relevant qualification (HND / BTEC or Degree) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or similar discipline.
- Ability to read and create basic electronic designs.
- Hands on in nature and have an inquisitive mindset when it comes to electronics and testing.

The Electronics Technician job will involve:
- Performing multi-disciplinary instrument calibration and repair within a scientific environment.
- Read and create basic electronics designs and PCB layouts
- Mechanical and electrical assembly methods and practices, including digital interfacing techniques.
- Preparation of technical calibration reports.
- Fault finding to component level, soldering to replace surface mount devices.
