About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Driver with a valid HIAB licence to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods using a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB), ensuring excellent service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle with mounted HIAB crane to deliver and collect goods.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is kept in a roadworthy, clean, and presentable condition.
• Load and unload goods in line with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, representing the company to the highest standard at all times.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic records accurately and promptly.
• Comply with all driving hours, working time, and road transport regulations.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle defects immediately.

Requirements:

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Valid HIAB licence (Remote, Grab, and/or Hook attachments preferred).
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Proven experience operating a HIAB vehicle.
• A good understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime if required.

Desirable:

• Previous experience within the [building materials/construction/industrial] sectors (adjust depending on sector).
• Additional endorsements (e.g., ALLMI, CSCS card).
