Head Chef - Cromer, fulltime & permanent 

Contract Personnel are working alongside a local, independent restaurant passionate about creating outstanding dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients. We are recruiting for a Head Chef to lead their kitchen. With a focus on quality and creativity, they are known for warm atmosphere and exceptional food. 

The Role:

As Head Chef, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You’ll lead by example, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency at every service. This role is ideal for a creative, hands-on chef who is a strong team player and thrives in a high-standard environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of fresh, high-quality dishes
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and health & safety
  • Assist in menu development, and seasonal changes
  • Work closely with the owner/management to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Monitor kitchen performance and take corrective action where needed

About You:

  • Background in restaurant and/or hotel kitchens using fresh ingredients
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Organised, with a keen eye for detail and quality

Working Hours & Benefits:
