Care Assistant
We have 2 vacancies in our team providing compassionate care to individuals in their own homes. We provide care in the community covering Cromer, Sheringham and surrounding villages.
The ideal candidates will have experience in all areas of care, including medication administration, senior care, dementia care, and patient support. Experience is preferred, if however, you are brand new to the industry full training will be given. The individuals who apply will be prepared to work 4 days each week in total, including every other weekend.
We have a part time post for 20 hours and a full-time post for 30+ hours.
Care Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
- Prepare and serve meals while considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Implement behaviour management strategies when necessary.
- Support individuals with mobility issues, including the use of moving and handling.
Compensation:
- All hours are paid at shift rate from £12.30 to £13.50 / hour.
- Mileage is paid at 30p/mile.
