Job Description:

This exciting Junior Engineer role is ideal for someone looking to grow within product development and engineering. You will act as a key technical link between customers and internal teams, taking ownership of bespoke or non-standard product orders and supporting them through the full process.

As a Junior Engineer, you will:

  • Engage with customers to understand their requirements, interpret specifications and relay accurate information internally. You will track specialist orders from enquiry through to shipment, ensuring timelines and quality expectations are met.
  • You will also contribute to the development of new and existing products, following internal processes and managing your allocated projects. Regular communication with your Line Manager will be important to keep projects on track and raise any potential issues early.
  • You may also have opportunities to support and conduct internal or external product testing, giving you valuable hands-on engineering experience. This Junior Engineer position offers broad exposure, making it perfect for someone looking to build a strong technical foundation early in their career.

By joining the team as a Junior Engineer, you will gain experience in CAD, customer communication, project coordination and the full product lifecycle—creating strong stepping stones for future progression. You may also visit customer sites and gain insight into how products perform in real-world applications.
 

Skills & Experience:

  • CAD experience required (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Fusion 360 preferred).
  • Basic engineering, construction or manufacturing knowledge desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers.
  • Reliable team player with good organisation and attention to detail.
  • Ideal for graduates or early-career engineers.
