More about the role:

• Collecting the residents laundry as per the rota in the morning and return to the resident the same day or informing residents of any outstanding laundry.
• Ensuringthat all clothes washed are dried correctly using the tumble dryer, ensuring that it is set at the correct temperature depending on the type of fabric.
• You will be responsible for ironing clothes and linen ensuring that that iron is set to the correct temperature and not left unattended
• Collecting and sorting soiled linen into the correct categories ensuring that soiled items are not washed with unsoiled items.

- The ability to recognise that residents' rooms and belongings are personal and private
- Have an awareness of Health and Safety and COSH regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Awareness of Manual Handling regulations.
- The ability to demonstrate safe practices.

Hours of work: 12 hours per week Saturday and Sunday
