Transport Manager
Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading construction company, who are looking to hire a Transport Manager to join their growing team.
You'll play a vital part in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth and safe processes are maintained. As Transport Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing the safe loading and unloading of a small fleet of vehicles
- Overseeing a team of drivers
- Coordinating daily route planning
- Managing forklifts on site
- Ensuring compliance with transport regulations
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety
- Keeping up to date with fleet maintenance and supporting operational efficiency
This is a site-based, full-time role that offers stability, variety, and the chance to make a real impact within a close-knit team.
The right candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a transport management role
- A solid understanding of logistics, fleet compliance, and health & safety regulations
- Excellent organisational skills and a hands-on approach
