Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs (SEN)?
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Practitioners to join our supportive SEN school in Rochester.

About the Role

As a Learning Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of complex needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure every learner has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting students on a one-to-one and small group basis.

  • Assisting in the delivery of engaging and tailored learning activities.

  • Promoting independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.

  • Providing care and guidance in line with individual education and behaviour plans.

  • Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.

About You

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable but not essential – training will be provided.

  • A caring, patient, and resilient nature.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
