Your Responsibilities as Commis Pastry Chef
- Assist in preparation of pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts
- Support senior pastry chefs with mise en place and daily tasks
- Contribute to seasonal menu development and special event catering
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards
- Ensure consistency and quality in all products
- Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to new menu items
About You
- Previous experience in a pastry or baking environment
- Basic understanding of pastry techniques and food preparation
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and passion for pastry
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure
- Genuine passion for delivering nutritious, high-quality meals
- Food Safety Level 2 required (higher qualifications desirable)
