Salary: Pro-rata 25,183 to 26,409 plus 1,013 fringe allowance

We are working with an "Outstanding " 11-18 co-educational academy who are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Performing Arts Technician. Consistently achieving excellent academic results and dedicated to providing exceptional creative arts provision they can boast a specialist film studies suite (including a cinema) and a specialist theatre/drama studio with excellent resources. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to students' creative development and to inspire their passion for the performing arts.
Your Role
You will be at the heart of the Performing Arts department, with a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality drama, music, and dance lessons, as well as school productions and events. You will provide technical assistance in lighting, sound, and stage management, ensuring that students and staff have the resources and support they need. Responsibilities as a Performing Arts Technician will include:
- Familiarisation with A&H SQ 7 console and ZerOS for lighting and sound
- An understanding of DMX and Qlab
- Provide lighting and sound design, other technical support
- Setup and operation of lighting, sound, and projection for performances
- Film, edit, and archive student work for moderation and assessment purposes
