 A mazing opportunity to join a multi site service group at a time of transformation for a period of 12 months. Manage a small team of professional accountants. Reporting to the CFO this role is totally office based in Croydon.
Responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller Role:-
- To manage, motivate and develop a small dynamic team
- Review and improve processes and procedures to streamline the month end close
- Financial reporting and overseeing the transactional team
- Consolidations and inter company
- Cashflow management and control
- Liaising with the IT department on improving systems and procedures
- Working on rolling out the new accounts systems across the group and making sure the transition is seamless
- Year end statutory accounts, liaise with HMRC and resolve any queries
- VAT and corporate tax
- Working closely with the auditors
Requirements of the Financial Controller Role:-
- Proven track record in managing and mentoring a team
- Systems implementation experience in a multi site group
- ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualified
- Excellent communication skills
- Happy to work 5 days in the office
