Contract Length: 6-month contract (possibility of extension)

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 36 hours

About the Role

As a Service Coordinator within our Children's Social Care division, you'll play a vital role in supporting practitioners, social workers, and managers across the practice system. You'll provide high-quality administrative, clerical, and ICT support, helping to ensure timely and effective service delivery to the residents of Croydon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver agile and flexible support across the practice system
  • Maintain and operate key databases (EHM & CRS) with accuracy
  • Provide guidance and training to new staff
  • Minute complex meetings including child protection strategy sessions
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and council policies
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners including schools, health services, and voluntary organisations
  • Support financial processes and governance in collaboration with the Children's Payment Hub

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience in Children's Social Care or similar environment
  • Proficiency in ICT systems and administrative processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding
