About the Role
This is a key position supporting a workforce of around 300 employees across two operational sites. Reporting to the People & Organisational Manager, you’ll provide practical HR and training support across all areas of the employee lifecycle - from recruitment, onboarding, and development, to employee relations, wellbeing, and performance.
You’ll be the go-to person for line managers on a wide range of people topics and play a lead role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly, policies are up to date, and training needs are met. It’s a broad, varied role with plenty of scope to make an impact.
What You’ll Be Doing

Advising managers on recruitment, onboarding and employee relations

Coordinating training needs, development plans and compliance activities

Supporting organisational changes and rolling out key HR initiatives

Ensuring HR data is accurate, up to date and aligned with KPIs

Reviewing policies and procedures to ensure they’re fit for purpose

Leading on pre-employment checks and maintaining governance standards

Assisting with investigations, disciplinary matters and absence management

Partnering with internal stakeholders to drive engagement and performance
What You’ll Bring

CIPD qualified (or working towards)

Solid experience in a similar HR Advisory role

Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice

Confident working with managers across all levels

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Well-organised, proactive and solutions-focused

Experience with HR systems (e.g. Workday)
This is a hands-on, visible role in a dynamic working environment. You’ll need to be comfortable juggling competing priorities, providing sound advice, and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
