Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Design Engineer to join their growing team. Ideal candidates must have Civil Engineering experience working on substation projects from 11kV to 132kV.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the project team to develop and deliver conceptual and detailed civil engineering designs for various infrastructure projects.
Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and other design documents in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Conduct structural calculations and analysis to ensure the safety and stability of civil structures.
Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., architects, mechanical engineers) to ensure a well-coordinated and efficient design.
Utilize Civil Engineering design software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar programs to create accurate and detailed drawings.
Review and analyze site investigations and geotechnical reports to inform foundation design.
Participate in project planning and scheduling, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and sustainable design practices.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to effectively communicate project details and address any concerns.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.

What You Will Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project delivery, ideally involving substation projects.
Proven experience in preparing construction drawings, specifications, and other design documents.
Proficiency in Civil Engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex design challenges.
Excellent understanding of structural mechanics, soil mechanics, and foundation engineering principles.
Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
