Overview We are seeking experienced and qualified Blue CSCS Asbestos Operatives to join our team for a 4-week project in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in asbestos removal and commercial projects. The role involves 9.5 hours of paid work per day and requires individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining high standards of compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform asbestos removal works in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Set up airlocks and enclosures to ensure a safe and controlled working environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to asbestos removal activities.
- Blue CSCS Card (essential).
- Valid Face Fit Certification (mask must align with Face Fit requirements).
- Up-to-date Medical Certification.
- Completed Asbestos Training.
- Full Paper Fit-to-Fit Certification.
- Proven experience working on commercial projects, with a strong understanding of asbestos removal processes.
- Arrive on-site promptly and participate in daily briefings.
- Set up and dismantle airlocks and enclosures as required.
- Execute asbestos removal tasks with precision and care, ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular checks on equipment and PPE to ensure functionality and safety.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address any challenges or concerns.
