IT Systems Architect & Account Manager

Location: Croydon (hybrid working available)

Salary: Dependent on relevant experience.

Status: Full-time

We have a new opportunity for an IT Systems Architect & Account Manager to join the IT team. The IT Systems Architect & Account Manager is responsible for supporting the designing and implementing IT infrastructure, network and security initiatives that align with the organisation's strategic goals, whilst closely managing our key IT partner relationships.



About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT solutions with core partners and suppliers that meet business needs, including server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage requirements, and networking protocols.
  • Ensure seamless integration of various systems and applications to support business processes.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather system requirements and understand business needs specifically end user compute.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance business capabilities.
  • Create and maintain documentation for architectural designs, decisions, and procedures.
  • Ensure all systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations working closely with core suppliers supporting our systems.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery protocols with our suppliers to ensure business continuity.
  • Display leader qualities within cross-functional teams to develop and deploy technology solutions.
  • Support the overall delivery of the IT budget.
  • Support and oversea key partner supplier relationships, contract renewals and service delivery.

Essential Skills

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems design and implementation and or equivalent.
  • At least 1 years' experience in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience, equivalent or actual degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Skills, knowledge and expertise:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to oversee project production efforts and ensure timely completion working closely with allocated PM resources.
  • Cost optimisation and commercial awareness
