Lagger

We’re currently looking for experienced Laggers / Thermal Insulation Engineers to join a well-established M&E contractor working across commercial, residential, and industrial projects throughout London/Kent. You’ll be responsible for the installation and maintenance of insulation on pipework, ductwork, and vessels to ensure thermal efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply insulation materials to hot and cold pipework, ductwork, and plant.

• Measure, cut, and fit insulation and cladding materials (including aluminium, PIB, and steel).

• Work from drawings and site instructions to meet project specifications.

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company H&S policies.

• Assist with pre-insulation preparation and final finishes.

• Liaise with supervisors and site managers to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lagger / Thermal Insulation Engineer.

• Proficient in both hot and cold insulation systems.

• Valid CSCS card (essential).

• Own tools and PPE (preferred).

• Full UK driving licence and reliable transport.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
