Adecco are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Performance and Intelligence Officer on behalf of our public sector client. The succesful candidate will join the Children, Young People & Education Directorate to support the timely and accurate processing of statutory school attainment data returns to the Department for Education (DfE).

- Temporary Role - 3 months, covering long-term sick leave
- 400 per day Umbrella
- Hybrid Working - 2 to 3 days per week in office

Role Overview
This short-term engagement requires a candidate who can immediately contribute to the team's objectives. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the processing, validation, and submission of over 250 school returns, including:
- Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP)
- Phonics Screening Check
- Key Stage 1 (non-statutory)
Essential Knowledge and Experience
Applicants must demonstrate:
- In-depth knowledge of DfE data collection requirements for EYFSP, Phonics, and KS1
- Proficiency in using:
- Nexus for uploading and quality assurance of school returns
- DfE Collect for submission of statutory returns
- School census data and education case management systems
- Advanced analytical skills and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in data validation and quality assurance processes
Key Competencies
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with schools and stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to data handling
- Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Sound understanding of data protection legislation relevant to the role
