Secondary Schools Across South London Recruiting for September 2025
TimePlan Education are excited to assist secondary schools across South London with the recruitment of General Cover Supervisors for ad hoc supply or long-term supply in the new academy year.
- Role: General Cover Supervisor
- Location: Various mainstream, state secondary schools across South London
- Ofsted Rating: Many of the schools are rated 'Good'
- Timings: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (this will be dependent on the school)
- Start Date: September 2025
Role Expectations:
A successful Cover Supervisor will:
- Build a strong rapport with students quickly
- Remain calm, confident, and engaging in unfamiliar settings
- Teach a variety of subjects using pre-prepared resources
- Maintain class discipline and keep students focused on their learning objectives
Cover Supervisors are essential in maintaining the continuity of students' education during short-term teacher absences. This role is crucial across all types of schools and educational stages.
