Salary: 140 - 200 per day (dependent on experience)
Working hours: 3 days per week (9:30am - 3:30pm)

A specialist alternative provision based in Croydon offering tailored education for students with additional needs including SEN and SEMH. The school provides a supportive and structured environment where learners can progress both academically and personally.

About the role:
You will deliver Functional Skills Maths lessons to small groups of students aged 11-16 with a focus on engagement, differentiation, and progress. This is a part-time, long-term role ideal for someone passionate about making a difference.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills Maths lessons
  • Differentiate work to suit individual needs
  • Build positive relationships with learners
  • Work alongside support staff to meet EHCP targets
  • Promote behaviour that supports learning

Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:

  • QTS or teaching qualification (desirable)
  • Experience working in SEN/SEMH or alternative provision settings
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Understanding of Functional Skills Maths curriculum
  • A calm, resilient, and nurturing approach
