Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicatedGasEngineerto join our team on a social housing contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair ofgasappliances and systems within residential properties. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and servicing ofgasappliances and systems.
Diagnose and repair faults ingasappliances and systems.
Install newgasappliances and systems in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance withgassafety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with tenants and clients.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Respond to emergency callouts and provide timely solutions.
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications ingasengineering (e.g., NVQ Level 3, ACS qualifications).
ValidGasSafe registration.
Proven experience ingasappliance installation, maintenance, and repair.
Strong knowledge ofgassafety regulations and standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving license.
