Adecco are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Senior Housing Officer to join our clients Housing Needs team. You will manage a patch of (Apply online only) non-secure LLP tenants, ensuring effective tenancy management, income recovery, and community engagement. This is a varied role requiring strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise rent and service charge collection and manage arrears recovery up to legal action.
  • Deliver high-quality tenancy management, enforcement, and sustainment services.
  • Act as first point of contact for tenants, handling complex queries and anti-social behaviour cases.
  • Undertake home visits, court representation, and eviction processes where necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to support vulnerable tenants and prevent homelessness.

About You

  • Extensive experience in income recovery and tenancy management within social housing.
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation, including the Housing Act 1985.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and IT skills.
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Flexible to work outside normal hours and travel across the borough.
