Joining the Procurement Department as a Purchasing Assistant, you'll be involved in a broad range of purchasing and sourcing activities.  This is an onsite role – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Responsibilities will include:
- Manage supplier accreditation and performance.
- Initiate new supplier accounts and manage stock levels.
- Work closely with suppliers to improve delivery, pricing, and explore new products.
- Monitor project spend and profitability, achieving savings.
- Monitor stock levels and review orders via MRP system.
- Create new stock codes and coordinate with the warehouse.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Sales and Accounts.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in Purchasing/Procurement and Order Processing.
- Good IT skills including proficiency in MRP systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience of working in a Manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
