Graduate Quality Specialist (Engineering)

Graduate Quality Specialist required for a leading service and repair provider of laboratory equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in quality management within a reputable company who can offer ongoing training and development in a varied role.

This role would suit a graduate (or equivalent) with strong mathematical skills. Candidates who have studied subjects such as mathematics, engineering, physics or similar are encouraged to apply, as are candidates with already proven experience working with quality systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the company’s Quality Manager to control and implement their quality management system. This will involve auditing and acting on non-conformances.

You can also expect to support the company’s technical team carry out service and calibration work on equipment at customer sites and in their workshop. Full training on this will be provided.

The Graduate Quality Specialist Role:

· Approximately 60-65% quality management, 35-40% hands on service and calibration

· Internal audits

· Acting on non-conformances and improvements where required

· Preparation for external audits

· Updating quality management system

· Travel to customer sites

· Ongoing training and development

The Graduate Quality Specialist Candidate:

· Graduate (or equivalent) in mathematics, engineering, physics or similar

· Interest in pursuing a career in quality management
