About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take the commercial lead on a key gas framework project. You'll be responsible for managing costs, ensuring contractual compliance, and supporting project delivery from inception to completion. The framework involves essential upgrades and maintenance across the regional gas network and offers an opportunity to work within a highly collaborative team.
Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Manage all commercial aspects of the gas framework project
- Administer NEC contracts and ensure adherence to contract requirements
- Oversee cost planning, valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Provide accurate forecasting and financial reporting
- Liaise with project teams and the client to ensure successful delivery
Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the utilities sector
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., RICS/CICES) is desirable
