We are looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Media Studies & English Teacher who has proven experience of success. A TLR allowance is available for an exceptional candidate or someone with suitable experience looking to take on additional leadership responsibility. 

Media Studies and English Teacher - Role:

• To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate
• To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and Form Tutor
• To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
• To contribute to raising standards of achievement and maximising student attainment
• To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth

Media Studies and English Teacher – Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• A willingness to undertake further relevant training and to pass those skills on to other members of staff as appropriate
• Enthusiasm and passion for teaching 
• A commitment to obtaining the highest standards of pupil achievement and a belief that enjoyable learning is the most effective learning
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
