The Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 if desired. You will play a key role in fostering a love for Science, encouraging curiosity, and helping students reach their full academic potential.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to a diverse range of learners.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress in line with curriculum expectations.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively within the Science department to share best practices and develop the curriculum.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds UK QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Has experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
  • Is committed to raising attainment and fostering a positive learning experience for students.
  • Has strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to teaching.
