Adecco are recruiting for a Housing Officer on behalf of our Public Sector client.

The Housing Officer is responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused housing management services to Council tenants and leaseholders. This role involves identifying and implementing improvements to estates, managing anti-social behaviour, and ensuring compliance with tenancy and lease agreements.

The officer will work closely with various teams, external agencies, and residents to enhance service delivery and resident satisfaction. Essential skills include effective communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage a varied workload. Experience in social housing customer service and proficiency in Microsoft Office and housing databases are required. The role may involve working outside regular hours and traveling between sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify environmental improvements to estates.
  • Collaborate with teams for effective regeneration initiatives.
  • Partner with housing teams for coordinated estate management.
  • Work with residents to improve services and outcomes.
  • Liaise with the Anti-Social Behaviour Enforcement team.
  • Coordinate with agencies on tenancy matters for vulnerable tenants.
  • Report on quality control and recommend service improvements.
  • Support the team manager with reports and resident communications.
  • Use IT for efficient estate management.
  • Deputize for the Team Manager when needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.
