About the Role:As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who require additional emotional, behavioural, or social support. Your role will involve:

Building positive relationships with students to encourage confidence and engagement

Supporting pupils in and out of class, helping them manage their behaviour and develop self-regulation strategies

Working with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to create tailored support plans

Delivering 1:1 or small group interventions focused on behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and resilience

Promoting an inclusive and respectful school environment

Previous experience working with young people with behavioural or emotional needs (school, youth work, or similar setting)

Calm, empathetic, and patient with strong communication skills

Ability to de-escalate challenging situations and support positive behaviour

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Relevant qualifications in youth work, education, psychology, or similar (desirable)
