Simply Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children in a friendly and inclusive primary school in Croydon.

This is a rewarding role for someone who is patient, proactive, and committed to helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN, including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech & language needs, and learning difficulties
  • Support children in KS1 and KS2 with their academic, social, and emotional development
  • Adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans
  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting
  • A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of KS1 and KS2 learning environments is desirable
  • Relevant SEN training (e.g., Makaton, PECS, Team Teach) is an advantage but not essential
