Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant - South London
95-115 per day | Full-Time | Immediate Start

Remedy Education are looking for a committed and proactive Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people with additional needs succeed both academically and emotionally.

The role:

  • Supporting students across KS3-KS4 with a range of SEN needs

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils stay engaged and make progress

  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and behaviour management

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment

  • Working closely with the wider pastoral and SEN team to support student wellbeing

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience supporting SEN students in secondary settings

  • Confident building rapport and motivating young people

  • Calm, patient and resilient with strong behaviour management skills

  • Able to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff

  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS
