Catering Teacher

Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a Catering Teacher/Tutor to join an Alternative Provision in Croydon, South London.

This Alternative Provision supports students with SEMH needs and severe challenging behaviour. The school is seeking an experienced and resilient Catering Teacher/Tutor to start as soon as possible.

Role Details:
Position: Catering Teacher/Tutor
Setting: Alternative Provision
Location: Croydon, CR0
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 3 days per week (flexible), 9:30am-3:30pm (1hr lunch)
Hourly Pay: GBP20 - GBP30 (Depending on your experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term

About the School:
Specialist provision for students with SEMH and severe challenging behaviours
Small class sizes and a high staff-to-student ratio
Focus on personalised learning and behaviour support strategies
Supportive team with experience in therapeutic approaches

Requirements:
QTS or minimum 5 years experience teaching or delivering Catering/Hospitality courses
SEN experience, particularly with SEMH and challenging behaviour
Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce) on the Update Service
Right to work in the UK
Two professional references covering the last 2 years
