My client who are a growing and thriving business who are on an excellent growth trajectory for the next 5 years are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their friendly and welcoming team and support their purchasing function.

Your duties will include:

  • Manage purchase order processes
  • Manage the completion of associated documentation for new suppliers and contractors and setting up on Sage in line with the process
  • Manage contractor validations to ensure compliance, conduct CIS checks, currency of insurances and any qualifications required for scope of works
  • Arranging return of goods to suppliers and credits for items returned in conjunction with Sales and Warehouse as necessary and ensure Return Process is managed through to credit posting
  • Resolve invoice queries
  • Support the Purchasing Manager with data and trend analysis

You must have:

  • Sage system experience (ideally)
  • Buyer experience preferred
  • Good communicator
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Experienced user of Microsoft office (especially Excel)
  • Good negotiator
  • Able to build effective relationships with suppliers
  • Organisational and planning skills
