Maintenance Technician
Continental Days
We are recruiting a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing company in Crumlin, Co Antrim. You'll be responsible for ensuring all plant, equipment, and services are maintained and operational, working with CNC, turning and milling multi-axis machines.
Continental days pattern 7.30am - 8pm:
2 weeks of Mon, Tues, Weds
2 weeks of Thurs, Fri, Sat
The Role
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
- Prioritise and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers when specialist repairs are required.
- Assist with the installation and relocation of equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records and ensure safe working procedures at all times.
- Support and train other team members when needed.
- Liaise with external contractors and issue permits to work.
What We're Looking For:
- Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience in manufacturing maintenance
- Experience working with CNC Turning & Milling Multi-Axis Machines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
