Salary: £33,075 to £50,471 - dependent on experience
About the Role:
We are currently working with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Hazlemere seeking a passionate and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, supporting pupils’ academic progress and well-being, and contributing to the wider school community
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports individual pupil needs
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress effectively
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance learning outcomes
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and CPD opportunities
• Uphold the school’s values and contribute to whole-school development
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2)
• Strong understanding of the KS1 national curriculum, phonics, and early learning strategies
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A nurturing, reflective, and professional approach to teaching
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
