Electrical Design Engineer
Northwest / East Yorkshire

Rate £45.00 - £50.00p/h DOE (Outside IR35)
Oil & Gas / Process / Amtech / AutoCAD
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key client based in the North, who are engineering specialists across chemical, oil & gas and other process industries. They are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong project background on an initial 6-month contract with a likelihood of extension.
The successful Electrical Design Engineer will conduct the following duties:
- Prepare and review electrical designs and cable calculations
- Co-ordinates Internal and client audit requests facilitating audit procedures of engineering systems
- Identify and resolve discrepancies from the original proposal
- Review and check specifications, drawings, schedules, & data sheets
The successful Electrical Design Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
- Knowledge of electrical systems from low through to medium and high voltage
- Good understanding of cyber protection
- Strong background in process engineering (oil & gas desirable)
- HND/HNC degree qualified Â
