Compass Associates are proud to be working with a highly respected and forward-thinking care provider in their search for a Home Manager for a well-established nursing home in Fife.

The RoleThe successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills and a clear track record of turning around quality ratings or maintaining high standards in challenging settings. They will be responsible for the operational management of the home, ensuring excellent standards of clinical care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and commercial performance.

This position requires a confident, people-focused manager capable of driving positive change, increasing private occupancy, and mentoring a dedicated but developing deputy team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the home in day-to-day operations, focusing on quality of care and resident outcomes

  • Drive improvement plans aligned to regulatory frameworks

  • Manage and develop staff, particularly in clinical leadership and team engagement

  • Monitor financial and occupancy performance, supporting commercial targets

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC PIN

  • Proven experience as a Home Manager in elderly care

  • Strong understanding of care compliance, governance, and service improvement

  • Ability to lead teams through change with confidence and clarity

  • Experience working in turnaround environments or high-pressure settings a positive
