TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic Secondary SEND School based in Dudley.  The school follows a varied curriculum to suit the needs of the young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. Their culture is one of patience, inclusivity and helping children and young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential, whilst promoting independence

The school is looking to take on a member of staff on a day to day basis. The successful Teacher will be working directly with students across all Key Stages, whose ages range from 5 – 14yrs. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD / Mental health.

The successful Candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, SLD, challenging behaviour, SEMH
  • Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
