HGV Class 1 Driver

"We're looking for someone who can commute to Curdworth, who is available to work full time via agency each week for ongoing long-term class 1 driving work.

The company:

Our client founded in 1995, is the UK's largest privately owned freight and parcel network that specialises in delivering large and non-standard freight. They offer a variety of delivery services, including storage and distribution.

Shift patterns:

Our client offers various start times to suit your preference:

• 00 am - 10.00 am Monday to Friday
• 00 am - 12.00 pm Monday to Friday
• 00 pm - 14.00 pm Monday to Friday
• 00 am Tuesday to Saturday
• Shift lengths are between 8-11 hours in duration
• 5 shifts per week and ongoing long-term

Pay rates:

• Monday to Friday = 15.50 per hour
• Weekends = 17.50 per hour
• All rates are PAYE meaning holiday pay will be accrued in addition @ 12.07% per hour
• You will be guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours per shift

About the role:

• Local and national delivery and collection work
• Normally 2-3 stops per shift
• Stopping at fulfilment centres and NDC's
• Curtain-sider trailers
• Palletised goods (no handball)
• Must be able to open curtains

Requirements:

• Must hold a UK class 1 C+E licence for a minimum of 2 years
• Must have no more than 6 points for minor offences
• No DR10 / IN10 disqualifications
