The Best Connection Reading are seeking NEWLY QUALIFIED Class 2 Driver (Temporary to Permanent role)!

Location: Thatcham, Berkshire

Are you an experienced Class 2 driver looking for a new opportunity? The Best Connection, in partnership with one of our agriculture clients, is currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join their team for multidrop deliveries. You will be delivering agricultural chemicals to surrounding areas, ensuring safe and timely transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Multi-drop deliveries: Completing up to 10 deliveries per day across local and surrounding areas.
  • Product delivery: Transporting agricultural chemicals to farms and businesses.
  • Ensuring safety: Adhering to safety regulations and best practices when transporting chemicals.
  • Customer service: Ensuring deliveries are made promptly and professionally, with excellent customer interaction.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 driving licence, CPC and Tacho (essential).
  • Multi-drop driving experience (desirable).
  • Experience delivering hazardous goods (desirable, but not essential).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong time management.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday.
  • 7:30am starts.
  • 8-hour shifts.
