Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and customer specifications
- Ensure all food is presented to high standards of quality and appearance
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all kitchen areas
- Assist in menu planning, stock control, and ordering supplies
- Monitor food safety, hygiene, and allergen control procedures
- Train and support junior kitchen staff as needed
- Work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
- Contribute ideas for specials and seasonal menu updates
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations
- Excellent cooking skills with a creative flair
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Relevant culinary qualification or food hygiene certification preferred
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
